Hi   I 'm DrJen Davis

 '

After participating in high-level athletics through college and beyond and experiencing many season-ending injuries, I'm nearly certain I was placed on this Earth to help other athletes overcome their own big-time knee injuries and get back to the sports, life, and the version of themselves they love the most.

Ready to conquer your knee injury recovery the right way so that you can spend less time sitting on the sidelines and more time doing yoga, playing in the mountains, and running in the dirt?

I got you at The Knee PT + Coaching.

I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Mindset Coach, former varsity collegiate soccer player, 2x NCAA tournament participant, runner, wife, and Mama to the best little boy around.

I'm also a 3x ACL Warrior and, to my core, am devoted, to helping other hardworking athletes like you to have smooth and successful recoveries (whatever your post-injury goals may be).

I've come back from knee surgeries as "simple" as joint clean-outs and other ones as challenging as ACL reconstructions (plus The MISHA Knee System most recently).

As both a patient and professional providing physical therapy to other humans, I know what it takes to recover from knee surgeries feeling stronger than you were before your injury and with the lowest re-injury risk possible.

If you're someone who pays attention to professional sports, still competes with other athletes, and/or watches your children pursue their own athletic endeavors, you may have noticed that knee injuries are happening everywhere. In fact, ACL injuries are now considered to be an epidemic.

I believe that we can do better as sports medicine providers to help prevent knee injuries -- and when they do happen, upgrade the level of care you receive so that you can get back to your favorite sports feeling strong and confident.

This is why my treatment approach is so different from what you'll find in other sports medicine clinics. I don't believe in cookie-cutter rehab programs, seeing you for 5 minutes before handing you off to a PT assistant or aide, discharging you from rehab before you've return to your sport successfully, or telling you that you shouldn't go back to your sport.

As a lifelong athlete, I know how much your participation in sports can impact the joy you get to experience, your confidence, connection to your community, and ability to manage the inevitable stress that happens in life. That's why I'm committed to helping you achieve your goals as safely and successfully as possible.

What makes me different from other PTs

It's true -- you're most likely to have a smooth, uncomplicated, and "speedy" recovery when you trust your PT, feel safe under their guidance, and walk away from each session feeling like you've been heard and supported.

I take your challenges, concerns, and goals seriously. And it's important to me to think outside-of-the-box and work with you to design a rehab support plan that feels good in your body and calm in your mind -- and gets you back to your favorite active routines with ease.

Plus, helping your body and your sense of self return to "normal" (and dare I say even better) is super fun for me! I bring listening ears, compassion, and fun to every treatment session, and I'm dedicated to supporting you for the long haul.
